Terms of Service — the deal between us

What you're agreeing to when you book with Joymira, and what we're promising in return. Written in real sentences, because fine print nobody reads helps no one. Last updated: September 2026.

Section 1

Who you're booking with

Joymira Pty Ltd (ABN 84 621 309 775), a travel agency registered in New South Wales, Australia — trading from 18 O'Dea Ave, Waterloo NSW 2017.

What we do

We design, book and manage travel arrangements — accommodation, transport, tours, events and related services through our partner network.

Our role

We act as your agent with suppliers. Your travel services are delivered by the partners we book — our job is choosing them well and standing behind the choice.

When these terms apply

Using this site, requesting a quote or paying a deposit means you accept these terms. Individual quotes may add specifics (inclusions, supplier conditions) — where they differ, the quote wins.

Quotes, booking and payment

How the money side works — no surprises, all of it in writing before you pay.

Quotes

Every itinerary comes with an itemised quote, valid for 7 days. Prices are per person in AUD unless stated. Nothing gets booked before you approve it.

Deposits & balance

A 30% deposit locks your booking; the balance is due 30 days before departure. Late bookings may need full payment upfront — we'll always flag it first.

What's in the price

Everything listed in your quote — and nothing that isn't. Flights, visas, insurance and personal spending are excluded unless we say otherwise in writing.

Price changes: if a supplier changes a price after your quote, we tell you before charging anything extra — and you can walk away with the deposit back.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

Life happens. Here's exactly how we handle it — the same rules your quote references.

Changes by you

Free date or itinerary changes up to 30 days before departure, subject to partner availability. Inside 30 days we do our best — supplier fees may apply and we'll quote them first.

Cancellation by you

30+ days out: full refund minus any non-refundable partner costs (always flagged at quote). 14–29 days: 50%. Under 14 days: per supplier terms — we'll fight for every cent back.

Changes by us or suppliers

If a supplier cancels or materially changes a service, we offer a better-or-equal alternative or a refund for that component — your pick, in writing.

Force majeure

Weather, strikes, border closures and other events outside anyone's control: we rebook or credit you where suppliers allow, and advocate hard where they don't.

Section 4

Your side of the deal

Accurate info

Names must match passports exactly, and the details you give us (dates, needs, ages) need to be right — bookings live and die on spelling.

Documents & insurance

Passports, visas and travel insurance are your responsibility — we'll remind you (repeatedly) but can't hold them for you.

Conduct

Supplier rules apply on their premises — including venue dress codes and age limits. Partners can refuse service for serious misconduct, and that's outside our control.

Section 5

The 18+ and gaming clause

Age-restricted services

Gaming floors, casino events and licensed venues are strictly 18+. Booking those services means every traveller in your party meets the age requirement and carries valid photo ID.

Responsible play

We promote responsible gambling on every relevant booking. Self-exclusion requests are honoured without judgement — tell us and we'll build the trip around it.

Refused entry

Venues may refuse entry for ID, intoxication or conduct reasons — that's their legal right and isn't a breach on our side. We plan around it, but can't override it.

Section 6

Liability, the website and the boring-but-important bits

Our liability

We're responsible for our own work — the advice, the bookings, the coordination. Services are delivered by suppliers under their own terms, though consumer law rights are untouched.

Using this site

Content is for personal, lawful use — don't scrape it, don't misuse it. Prices shown are indicative until quoted in writing.

Consumer guarantees

Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a service isn't delivered with due care, remedies apply — full stop.

Governing law

New South Wales, Australia. Disputes go to NSW courts — though in nine years we've settled everything with a phone call first.

Anything unclear? Ask before you book

We'd rather explain a clause for ten minutes than have you wonder about it mid-trip. Related reading: our privacy policy and cookie policy.
