Cookie Policy — the small files we actually use

What cookies live on joymira.net, what each one does, and how to switch them off. Short version: we keep it minimal, and nothing here follows you around the internet. Last updated: September 2026.

Section 1

What cookies are — the 30-second version

Small text files your browser stores so a site can remember things. They're not programs, they can't carry viruses, and they can't read your files.

Session cookies

Live only while your browser is open — they keep forms working and pages loading the way you left them.

Persistent cookies

Stick around between visits so the site remembers preferences — like the fact you already dismissed the cookie banner.

First-party vs third-party

Ours are almost all first-party — set by joymira.net, read only by joymira.net. A couple of embedded tools (the map, fonts) set their own, and those are listed below too.

Every cookie on this site, listed

Three categories — that's the entire inventory. No ad trackers, no cross-site profiling, no surprises.

Essential

The site literally doesn't work without these — forms, navigation, security.

  • Session & form state
  • Load balancing
  • Security tokens

Preferences

Remember your choices so we don't ask twice.

  • Cookie banner consent (jm-cookies-ok)
  • Display preferences

Analytics

Anonymous usage stats that tell us which pages help and which need work.

  • Aggregated page views
  • No personal identifiers

What you won't find: advertising pixels, social-media trackers, fingerprinting or anything that builds a profile of you across other websites.

Third-party tools on the site

A couple of embedded services set their own cookies. Here's who's involved and what they do.

Google Maps

The embedded map on our contacts page may set Google's own cookies for preferences and security. Governed by Google's privacy policy.

Google Fonts

Our display fonts load from Google's CDN — it may log standard request data (like your IP) to serve the files.

CDN libraries

Bootstrap, FontAwesome and AOS load from public CDNs (jsdelivr, cloudflare) for speed. These serve files and may log basic request data — they don't set tracking cookies for us.

Section 4

You're in charge — manage or block

Browser controls

Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies: check Settings → Privacy in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Blocking essential cookies may break forms — preferences and analytics can go without consequences.

Reset our banner

Clear your browser's site data for joymira.net and the consent banner will show again on your next visit — choose differently if you like.

Private browsing

Incognito/private windows skip persistent cookies entirely — everything we set simply evaporates when you close the window.

Section 5

Updates and where to ask

Changes here

If we add or remove cookies, this page and its date get updated. Nothing gets sneakier without you being able to see it here first.

Questions

Cookie questions go to joymira@gmail.com marked "Cookies" — or use the contact form and we'll route it ourselves.

We set a few essential cookies and one that remembers your consent choice.

2

Anonymous analytics help us improve pages — never to track you across the web.

3
